Dr. Jim Logan was born in Wichita, and grew up in Salina, Kansas. He attended Wheaton College, where he first considered and decided upon a medical career. He and Donna met at KU Medical School, married between 2nd and 3rd year, and moved to Wichita to complete their med student training. They remained in Wichita to complete their Family Medicine residency program, and had planned at first to head “somewhere else” for practice.
But it turned out that they had already fallen in love with their community, local church and this small independent group of doctors called Hillside Medical Office, so they decided to stay in Wichita to practice medicine and raise a family, and have been very glad they did!
One of the things Dr Jim especially loves about Hillside is that all of the docs here simply want to take good care of their patients. “We’re not fancy here at this office. You can tell the building is worn a bit. But you just gotta love our simplicity here at HMO: our family wants to take care of your family.” He enjoys taking care of all ages, from a few days old to 99 years! It is especially enjoyable for him when he can provide multi-generational care to extended families. “I take it seriously when someone trusts me enough to say ‘My doctor is Dr. Logan.’ I work hard to gain and keep that trust.”
Dr. Jim Logan has been married to Dr. Donna Logan for over 30 years. They have six children.
